I have disclosed all necessary requested information in order for my registration (the “Registration”) for the RetofitWR program, and such information is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
The energy coaching service available through the Program is only available to eligible homeowners of Waterloo Region who reside in low-rise residential detached homes, semi-detached homes, row housing, townhouses three-storeys or less and mobile homes on a permanent foundation with a space heating system and all windows and doors in place to be eligible for an EnerGuide assessment. Only customers of GrandBridge Energy Inc. in the City of Cambridge and Township of North Dumfries are eligible for RetrofitWR loans.
The Participant authorizes the Region to collect, use and disclose my personal and residential information collected from my Registration for purposes of the Program and providing services to the Participant, including sharing information with the Climate Action Partnership that the Region has entered into a contract with directly as well as Climate Action Partnership’s sub-contractor Waterloo Region Green Solutions o/a Reep Green Solutions, GrandBridge Energy Inc. that the Region entered into a contract with directly, as well as any other party that the Region may contract with or authorize to provide the services (the “Program Delivery Partners”). All Personal Information collected, including by the Program Delivery Partners, for this Program will be handled in accordance with the Region’s Information Access and Privacy Policy and the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
The Participant shall hereby fully, irrevocably and forever release, acquit and discharge the Region, the Program Delivery Partners and their respective successors, assigns, heirs, administrators, elected and appointed officials, officers, councillors, representatives, employees, servants, and agents, without qualification or limitation, from and against any and all claims, manner of actions, causes of actions, suits, losses, debts, dues, accounts, covenants, contracts, damages, costs, interest, damages, liabilities, applications, directives, third party claims or actions of any nature or kind that the Participant had, now has or may hereafter have, whether presently known or unknown, matured or unmatured, arising out of, relating to, or resulting from the Program and any services and benefits provided by the Region, or its authorized agents, under the Program. The Region will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, costs or losses arising from the advice provided or any home energy retrofits completed, whether in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or otherwise, or from any actions, negligence or misconduct by any of the Program Delivery Partners.
The Program benefits and services are subject to availability of funds in the Program, and the Program may be terminated or discontinued at any time by the Region, in its sole discretion, and without further notice and with no liability whatsoever to the Region, the Program Partners. The Region shall not be responsible for any costs, losses, or damages incurred by the Participant arising out of, related to, or resulting from the termination or discontinuation of the Program.
